The Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing daily accounting tasks. This includes processing transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining organized records, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications/Requirements
achelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
