Position SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities within a designated region to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves developing regional sales strategies, leading and mentoring a regional sales team, and collaborating with other departments to drive overall business growth.

Major Activities and Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Market Analysis
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with company objectives; analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and respond to customer needs using data insights.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Set clear sales targets, mentor the team to foster accountability and continuous improvement, and conduct regular evaluations with structured feedback and tailored development plans.
  • Process & Operational Excellence
  • Design and enhance sales processes for compliance and efficiency, leverage CRM systems, and ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting aligned with financial goals.
  • Client Relationship & Retention
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, gather feedback to drive innovation, and execute strategies to improve retention and reduce churn through data-driven solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with internal teams on tenders, contracts, and project management; provide senior management with comprehensive KPI reports and actionable insights.
  • Financial & Contract Management- Oversee account receivables, recovery efforts, and CLM processes; manage overdue payments and ensure timely invoicing while coordinating with finance and legal teams.
  • CRM Management (Salesforce and Other Digital Tools)
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer information in the CRM (Salesforce) and other required company platforms.- Create, manage, and track leads, sales opportunities, customer visits and other sales related activities in CRM(Salesforce) ensuring accurate and complete data integrity.- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) and BI (ei. PowerBI) dashboards, insights, and analytics to monitor performance and support effective territory planning and management- Ensure compliance with data privacy, documentation protocols, and internal systems standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a regional sales team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the region.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Willingness to travel extensively within the region as required.
