Our creative teams are responsible for over 100M views and 8 figures in revenue. We are looking for a DTC ecom direct response video editor to join our rocketship journey — someone who can turn product proof, sharp hooks, customer insight, and offer strategy into videos that people actually watch, trust, and buy from.
This is a role for someone who wants their edits to matter. Not sit in a folder. Not become brand content no one watches. Your work will be shipped, tested, measured, and improved in a system built for scale.
This role is hired through Ally, a recruitment and operations partner working with Hello Nancy.- The Role
As a DTC Ecom Direct Response Video Editor, you'll create long-form video sales letters and variants that educate, build trust, and convert — all while keeping Nancy's tone warm and approachable.
You'll work closely with the marketing team, iterating based on performance data and feedback. Proof over promises.- What You'll Do
- Edit long-form video sales letters and VSL variants
- Build hook, intro, proof, CTA, and cutdown versions for testing
- Create captioned, paced, graphics-supported sales edits
- Revise based on performance data and marketer feedback
- Maintain brand consistency — gentle, warm, never pushy
- What We're Looking For
- Portfolio: Direct response VSL or sales video work you can show us — this is the most important thing
- Pacing instincts: Strong retention awareness — you know where viewers drop off and how to keep them
- Sales understanding: You can explain proof, mechanism, CTA, and offer flow
- Brand sensitivity: Comfortable editing for an intimate wellness brand with a soft, playful tone
- Speed & initiative: Willing to do a paid sample task and turn it around quickly
