Position Overview:
As a Mortgage Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of loan applicants seeking mortgage loans. This role involves thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse applicants' financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess their creditworthiness.
- Evaluate and interpret credit scores, debt-to-income ratios, and other financial indicators to determine loan eligibility.
- Identify potential risks associated with loan applicants and make informed decisions on loan approvals.
- Assist clients in gathering necessary documents and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations and internal policies.
- Work closely with real estate agents, loan officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the mortgage lending process.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on loan applications and credit evaluations to management.
- Track and monitor existing mortgage loans to ensure continued creditworthiness of borrowers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in mortgage credit analysis within the Australian market.
- Proficient in CRM, software or tools such as Mercury, MyCRM, Quickli, ApplyOnline, PropertyHub and etc.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with financial software and loan processing systems.
