Pharmacy Assistant
Location: TeleCure Medical and Diagnostic Center, 221 Tanjeco St., San Vicente, City of Malolos, Bulacan & Assigned Onsite Locations

Role Overview:The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacy team by assisting in medication dispensing, managing inventory, providing customer service, and performing on-site duties for Pharmacy services and Health Caravan. This role ensures adherence to pharmacy protocols, regulatory compliance, and contributes to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations:
- Assist in accurately dispensing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including preparing, labeling, and processing initial and refill prescriptions.
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations, including dosage preparation and compounding, in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking pharmaceuticals, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, safety protocols, infection control measures, and company policies.
- Monitor, clean, and maintain pharmacy equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- All medication dispensing, compounding, and patient counseling activities shall be performed strictly under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, in compliance with RA 10918 and applicable regulations.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with prescription processing, explaining basic medication information (such as proper use and storage), and addressing routine inquiries, strictly following pharmacist guidance.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information according to data privacy standards.
Administrative and Support Duties:
- Perform encoding of Pharmacy services, data entry, filing, and documentation.
- Assist in on-site Health Caravan activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe pharmacy environment in compliance with established standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and undertake additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager.
Professional Development:
- Continuously update knowledge of pharmacy services, products, and regulations by participating in professional development activities, attending continuing education, and staying informed of current industry practices.
Qualifications:
- For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- For candidates with a Senior High School diploma: Pharmacy Services NC II certification from TESDA is highly recommended.
- Completion of applicable TESDA Pharmacy Services NC III certification is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform work accurately, efficiently, and responsibly in a dynamic healthcare environment.
