Billing & Collection Clerk

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must be a graduate in Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration or any equivalent;
• Knowledgeable in MS Applications.
• Knowledgeable in expanded withholding tax and Value added Tax.
• Willing to work in Makati City
• Immediate hiring, can start ASAP
• With at least 1 year of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare Collection Advice Memo (CAM) on a weekly basis in coordination with the Accounting Supervisor;
2. Update the information/data into the Firms’ Daily Service Report (DSR) database;
3. Assist secretaries with their billing inquiries;
4. Record and summarize daily collections for deposit;
5. Monitor dates of Post Dated Checks (PDC’s) for deposit;
6. Secure documents requested by clients for payment;
7. Prepare and dispatch Billings and Statement of Accounts;
8. Prepare quarterly Billing of Retainer and Hourly expenses;
9. Prepare Official Receipts (OR) and Provisional Receipts (PR) for collection on a daily basis;
10. Monitor Value Added Tax (VAT) and non-VAT bills;
11. Liaise and coordinate with the Bank regarding transactions and deposit (encashment and deposits of lawyers’ checks)
12. Present and monitor Check Vouchers with corresponding Check to Senior Partners for signature;
13. Release check payments to Suppliers;
14. Daily follow-up collections;
15. Filing of lawyers’ Daily Service Report (DSR);
