The WordPress Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and platforms that support our digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes to ensure a consistent and responsive design across various devices and screen sizes.
- Implement user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design elements.
- Optimize websites for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Build and maintain server-side logic and database systems.
- Develop APIs for data retrieval and integration with third-party services.
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and user information.
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to integrate third-party tools and platforms.
- Create interactive features such as forms, chatbots, and social media integrations.
- Ensure seamless data flow between different systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, databases, and systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams.
- Implement version control and manage code repositories.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing specialists to align development with marketing strategies.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment.
- Proficient in WordPress website development, and website troubleshooting - WordPress website portfolio is a plus.
- Proficient with Cpanel
- Proficient in front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
