• Develop and implement strategic plans for leveraging big data analytics to enhance business intelligence and decision-making.
• Lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Lead the integration of big data technologies into existing systems and processes, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and optimize data architectures, data models, and databases to support efficient and effective big data analytics.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of big data assets.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with big data technology vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive big data assets.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
• Interprets and synthesizes financial data into intelligent business decisions; and trains two (2) Filipino Understudies relative to the above functions.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science and technology, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience in leading and implementing big data projects and initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in the context of big data analytics.
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security protocols and compliance requirements in the big data space.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Adaptability to stay abreast of evolving technologies and industry best practices in big data analytics
