Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Mechanic is responsible for providing superb after sales service and facilitate customer loyalty to our company through excellence and professionalism.

1. Formulates service sales targets are met efficiently.
2. Completes inspection of all newly delivered units.
3. Discusses to the customer of the service warranty policy and proper motorcycle maintenance.

1. Provides tips on preventive motorcycle maintenance
2. Usage of free service coupons, retention, and periodic maintenance

1. Activates all motorcycle units for release and ensures that the motorcycle is in good running condition before release.
2. Conducts pre-delivery inspection to motorcycle units that will be transferred.
3. Assesses and re-activates Repo units and keeps Repo units in good running condition up to the time of release.
4. Conducts inventory count of service tools and equipment, as needed.
5. Stencils chassis and engine numbers upon delivery of units and before transfer of units.
6. Resolves motorcycle unit repair and maintenance on service units, Repo units, and customers’ units.

1. Properly filled out Job Order (JO) and Customer Service Record
2. Conforms to JO procedure before accepting repair
3. Diagnoses unit and discusses results and procedures to customers
4. Repairs and/ or replaces faulty parts

1. Collates and submits service coupons to the SL on or before the first Friday of every month.
2. Validates service job estimates for insurance purposes of the motorcycle units of customers.
3. Observes that his/her work area adheres to the 7S Methodology of all times.
4. Observes the company policies.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. A Senior high school graduate or college undergraduate of vocational course college education related to technical service with NCII Certificate provided that the candidate has the required relevant work experience indicated and with the approval of the hiring manager and department head.
2. Knows how to ride a motorcycle.
3. No adverse record.
4. Organizational skills.
5. Over 2 years of relevant work experience in technical services.
6. Must be a team player and have good communication skills.
7. Demonstrates interpersonal skills for giving/receiving information and interacting with clients/employees.
8. Willingness to travel or be assigned on different areas/ tasks from time to time where his expertise will be required and approved by the Head Office.
