Job Description

• An occupational health nurse (OHN) strives to keep workplaces free of injuries and illnesses that the work environment causes. AN OHN also cares for hurt or sick employees. Occupational health nurses that employees remain safe and work with employers and employees closely to that end. Although you can find OHNs at work clinics, medical centers and hospitals, companies also hire these nurses, which means OHNs can work in all industries and various types of workplaces.
• Managing occupational health services (assisting the doctor in the clinic duties, conducts counseling, administer medications and tests, monitoring health of employees, coordinates employee treatments and referral, conduct health training, conducts site inspection).
• Emergency response planning (develop, implement and coordinates with the Safety team fro the emergency response planning. Facilitate health related training and programs).
• Coordinate and organize health and wellness program.
• Documents and facilitates activities in compliance with standards and OSH regulations.
• Maintain health and/or clinic records.
• Maanages internal and external communications of the department or subcontractors (both oral and written) on the internal and external (client's) inspection findings.
• Facilitates inspection on Health and Wellbeing status of workers on site.
• Assists during endorsement to hospital for referral of patients.
• Collaborates within the team for the formulation of needed reports.
• Perform tasks as instructed by the Department Manager.

• Registered Nurse
• Undergo required training and completed the government-mandated basic training on Occupational Health Nurse (OHNAP/ BOSH for Nurses).
• Having relevant and professional experience on infrastructure/ construction set-up.
• Flexible and can work under pressure.
• Team player
• Can communicate in English both written and oral.
