Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize all supply chain and procurement activities at our medium-sized hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, vendor management, inventory control, and logistics—ensuring the timely and cost-effective availability of medical supplies and equipment essential to hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 11 supply chain and purchasing staff.
• Oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procurement regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with clinical departments to ensure timely replenishment of critical supplies.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments on budget planning and cost control initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and resolve any supply issues or delays.
• Coordinate logistics and warehousing operations to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and digital procurement tools.
• Support hospital-wide projects related to supply chain modernization and process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing
• Proven experience in supervising teams
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, inventory control, and vendor management.
