  1. Supervises daily task of staffs;
  1. Audit, review, checks, post each JE and computations prepared by associates (PCV, APV, JV, and, CV);
  2. Assist/ helps Accounting Head in coaching of associates;
  3. Monitors employee cash advances; Checks balances before processing of new advances;
  1. Assist Accounting Head in completing month-end, year-end closing activities;
  2. Keeps General Ledger updated and evaluates each expenses account;
  3. Prepares schedules for Financial Statements and reviews schedules prepared by associates;
  1. Accruals
  2. Pre-payments;
  3. PPE & Lapsing;
  4. Balance Sheet accounts schedules;
  5. Bank Reconciliation on some bank accounts;
  1. Responsible for analysis of accounts such as:
  1. EWT remitted to BIR vs Expenses;
  2. Salaries & Benefits compared to Alphalist;
  1. Landed cost audit/reviews and prepares adjustment as necessary;
  2. Prepares VAT remittances (output/input);
  3. Prepares remittances for Withholding Taxes (compensation, EWT);
  4. Checks and ensures that the following are submitted thru e-submissions;
  1. Alphalist-Expanded (Weekly and Regular);
  2. MAP/QAP;
  3. SAWT
  4. Relief;
  1. Audit payrolls, contributions and others related to payroll;
  1. Regular payroll;
  2. Weekly payroll (final audit);
  3. Last pay-out audit;
  4. Audit contributions (SSS/HDMF/PHIC);
  5. Review JE for payroll & benefits;
  1. Prepares project needed reports such as EOT;
  2. Inputs in manual books of accounts (General ledger, BI, OR);
  3. ISO monitoring schedules; ISO auditee;
  4. In the exercise of company prerogatives, it may assign a different position or additional responsibilities as it may see fit or necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

Relevant Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance
  • Professional License (Certified Public Accountant)
Relevant Experience:
  • With at least 2 years’ experience as Accounting Supervisor
  • With experience in General Accounting
Relevant Skills:
  • Knowledgeable in local and national government regulatory requirement/reports
  • With extensive knowledge in local and national government taxes regulation
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledgeable in accounting system
  • With excellent management and leadership skills
  • Analytical and system oriented
  • Computer literate; Proficient in Microsoft Programs
  • With multi-tasking skills and team oriented
