Position: 10-Wheel Truck Driver (NCR)

Job Summary

The position requires professionalism, defensive driving, and proper documentation of all deliveries and vehicle inspections.

• Safely operate a 10-wheel truck to transport cargo to customers, warehouses, ports, and designated delivery locations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report any defects, damage, or mechanical issues.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and transported safely to prevent loss or damage.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, and dispatch instructions.
• Comply with all traffic laws, LTFRB/LTO regulations, and company safety policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate delivery documents, trip tickets, gate passes, delivery receipts, and other required paperwork.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Warehouse, Operations, and customers regarding delivery status and any delays or incidents.
• Immediately report accidents, vehicle breakdowns, cargo damage, traffic violations, or other unusual occurrences to the Operations or Fleet Department.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the assigned vehicle.
• Assist in basic vehicle maintenance such as checking engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tires, lights, and other daily inspection items.
• Ensure fuel is used responsibly and prevent unauthorized use of company vehicles.
• Observe company policies on speed limits, defensive driving, and road safety.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo when operationally required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager, Fleet Supervisor, or Dispatch Coordinator.

• At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate.
• Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate restrictions suitable for operating 10-wheel trucks (LTO restrictions consistent with vehicle classification).
• Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience driving 10-wheel trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Familiar with roads, traffic regulations, and delivery routes within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
• Able to perform basic vehicle inspection and identify mechanical abnormalities.
• Physically fit and willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• No history of serious traffic violations or reckless driving.
