About the role
We are seeking a Technical Engineer to join the team at Felport International Marketing. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support across our field engineering operations.The Technical Engineer plays a crucial strategic role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and performance of our technical systems and equipment. You will be instrumental in supporting our business objectives by delivering high-quality field engineering solutions and maintaining optimal operational standards across all technical implementations.
Key responsibilities- Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify equipment requirements and operational needs
- Perform installation, maintenance and repair of technical systems and equipment in field locations
- Diagnose technical faults and implement corrective solutions to minimise downtime
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of work completed and findings
- Provide technical guidance and support to operational staff and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance activities
- Train and assist junior team members on technical procedures and best practices
- Other tasks from immediate head, management, or member of the management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
- 2-5 years of experience in field engineering, technical maintenance or a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical systems and electrical components
- Proficiency in using technical tools, diagnostic equipment and measurement instruments
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Physical capability to perform fieldwork, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different site locations
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in field engineering environments
- Certification in relevant technical areas or equipment operation would be advantageous
- Experience with CAD software or technical documentation systems is preferred
