Duties and Responsibilities
General Accounting
  1. Prepare and record journal entries accurately and timely.
  2. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  3. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  4. Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
Financial Reporting
  1. Prepare financial reports and schedules.
  2. Assist in the preparation of management reports.
  3. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
  4. Support external and internal audit requirements.
Accounts Reconciliation
  1. Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
  2. Monitor outstanding balances and resolve variances promptly.
  3. Ensure proper documentation of reconciliations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Support
  1. Assist in monitoring payables and receivables.
  2. Verify supporting documents before processing transactions.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding billing concerns.
Compliance and Documentation
  1. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
  2. Maintain organized accounting files and records.
  3. Assist in tax filing preparation and government compliance requirements.
Shared Services Support
  1. Provide accounting support to multiple business entities or departments.
  2. Coordinate with different teams regarding accounting concerns and deadlines.
  3. Standardize accounting processes across supported companies.
System and Process Improvement
  1. Participate in accounting system enhancements and process improvements.
  2. Recommend efficient accounting procedures and controls.
Other Duties
  1. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
  • CPA is an advantage but not required.
  • At least 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience in shared services or multi-company setup is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
