About the role
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team at rongsheng steel structures inc' in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of steel structures, ensuring the safety, reliability and efficiency of our projects.This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative construction initiatives.
What you'll be doing- Conducting structural analysis and design for steel structures, including buildings and industrial facilities
- Developing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction professionals
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
- Providing technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase
- Continuously researching and incorporating the latest industry trends and technologies
- Mentoring and training junior engineers to support their professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the steel industry
- Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software is required
- Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and construction practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Philippine Professional Engineering licence required at application
