Accounting Assistant - Quezon City

Job Summary:

The job of the Accounting Assistant is primarily to support the accounting department by performing the following: bookkeeping, recording, monitoring, preparation, submission of financial management reports. Its general objective is to make sure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, processed on time, and prepared and submitted to management in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Create and update expense reports
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Qualifications:

• BS/BA Accounting or Finance Graduate (CPA license not required)
• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant (open for newly graduates)
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks but optional)
• Organization skills and willing to be trained
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
