Role Description

Software Engineers are responsible for creating high-quality, innovative, and fully functional software that adheres to coding standards and technical design specifications.

• Complete training modules promptly.
• Familiarize yourself with the various programming languages, frameworks, and tools used by ObjectBright.
• Continuously enhance your coding skills.
• Collaborate with fellow developers in the design, construction, testing, and maintenance of software.
• Write straightforward scripts and address minor bug fixes.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews as a reviewer.
• Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Observe and implement ObjectBright's coding standards.
• Create automated tests using PHPUnit and Laravel Dusk.
• Assist with application packaging and the deployment of releases.
• Follow ObjectBright's change management policies and procedures.
• Ensure thorough and accurate system technical documentation.
• Maintain data security and uphold the confidentiality of information.
• Actively engage in team and project meetings to discuss feature updates and any issues.
• Take on and support ad-hoc tasks as needed.
• Be available to provide assistance during U.S. hours, if required.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficient in PHPUnit and Laravel Dusk
• Fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meticulously review code and pinpoint errors
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for teamwork with other developers
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements
• Basic knowledge of software testing and debugging methods
• Understanding of database concepts and operations
