INTERNAL AUDITOR
The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. The role involves conducting audits, assessing financial and operational risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement internal audit plans based on risk assessment.
Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
Identify and recommend improvements to processes and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations for management review.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations.
Assist in fraud investigations and special audits as needed.
Stay updated on auditing standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification is an advantage.
Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in audit software, data analysis tools, and MS Office.
High attention to detail, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Strong communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments
