The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team)
This is a pioneer role within Hubexo’s newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You’ll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation — contributing not just to day-to-day delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve.
You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.
About the role
As a General Accounting Senior Analyst, you will manage complex accounting activities and support accurate, timely month-end close and reporting for assigned entities or regions. This role plays a key part in maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting continuous improvement within the SSC.
What you’ll be responsible for
Service delivery- Prepare and post complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Support month-end close activities in line with agreed timelines
- Ensure accounting entries comply with internal policies, controls, and accounting standards
- Support audits, internal reviews, and reporting requirements
- Escalate complex or judgement-based issues with clear analysis
- Work closely with AP, AR, and regional finance teams to improve upstream and downstream processes
- Support SOP creation, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to system enhancements, UAT, or process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years’ General Accounting experience
- Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; NetSuite experience preferred
