Quality Assurance Software Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Software Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure applications meet both business and technical requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, API, database, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend data through SQL queries.
- Support test automation initiatives and continuously improve testing processes.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience as the primary or sole QA on a project.
- Experience facilitating sprint demos or coordinating release activities.
- Exposure to multiple industries such as FinTech, Insurance, Hospitality, or Real Estate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
