JOB DESCRIPTION

Its key role is to manage the financial related transactions at the DSWD Academy. Further, the AO V shall ensure, policies and guidelines set by regulatory bodies are strictly observed and Work and Financial Plans and reports are executed accordingly.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop protocols and guidelines in the management of the Academy’s finances and the necessary transaction per existing rules and regulations;
  2. Receive payments and issue official receipt on the services provided by the Academy;
  3. Ensure that case received are properly accounted and deposited subject to budget accounting and auditing rules;
  4. Prepare reports on the Academy’s financial transaction;
  5. Provide technical assistance in the work and financial planning and monthly disbursement planning, in coordination with other divisions;
  6. Coordinate with the Financial Management Service on the management of the DSWD finances;
  7. Perform budget secretariat functions for the DSWD Academy;
  8. Advise the Academy on major budget matter;
  9. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Division Chief.

Job Outputs:

  1. Academy Financial Report;
  2. Disbursement Plan;
  3. Budget Utilization Reports, Technical Reports and Feedback Reports; and
  4. Other related documents.
