Sustainability and CSR Specialist

Lead and spearhead the company’s Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by aligning them with the overall business strategy. Drive competitive advantage that sets the company apart in the CSR & sustainability approach within the coconut processing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s sustainability and CSR programs and activities including the factories.
• Align CSR/sustainability goals with the company’s overall business strategy and identify opportunities where sustainability can drive innovation or competitive advantage.
• Collect and analyze sustainability-related data to support reporting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making (carbon footprint, water usage, waste reduction).
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, local communities, and NGOs to support shared sustainability and CSR goals.
• Manage diverse stakeholder expectations (investors, regulators, customers).
• Develop and communicate impactful narratives that highlight the company’s mission, sustainability achievements, and ongoing progress
• Represent the company in public forums, lead sustainability workshops, and support educational outreach initiatives to promote environmental awareness and corporate responsibility
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to effectively align resources and achieve project goals
• Manage project budgeting, establish timelines, and monitor progress to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
• Abreast with trends in circular economy, regenerative agriculture, sustainable finance.
• Manage certification processes, coordinate audits, and ensure adherence to compliance protocols.
• Work closely with Singapore Office – Sustainability Group for the implementation and updates of the activities.
• Manage and submit progress reports on a regular basis, as well as other reports required by the Singapore Sustainability group, in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree graduate, preferably Agribusiness, Environmental Science or related field
• With at least 2 years of related experience
• Ability to integrate sustainability and CSR into corporate strategy
• With relevant experience in gathering, analyzing, and reporting sustainability data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
• In-depth understanding of different environmental and social issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting, timelines, team coordination, and project implementation.
• Relevant experience in NGO is a plus.
