About the role
Ueno Container Logistics, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Trailer / Truck Driver to join our growing team in Calamba City Laguna. This is a contract role, offering a flexible work arrangement. As a Trailer / Truck Driver, you will play a crucial part in the efficient delivery of goods and materials, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
What you'll be doing- Driving and controlling the vehicles/trailer/head truck safely and securely deliver within the destination.
- Perform daily inspection of head trucks and trailers.
- Performing truck / trailers periodic preventive maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safe delivery of shipments.
- Any other duties that may be assigned related to the position.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Trailer / Truck Driver in the Logistics or Transportation industry.
- Knowledge in mechanical and basic troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate endorsements for operating large commercial vehicles.
- Familiar with deliveries from/to port of Manila and Batangas.
- No issue with CTAP.
- No criminal record, no derogatory record with clear NBI record.
- With good moral character, trustworthy and hardworking and physically fit.
