Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful execution of HVAC construction projects. The role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing on-site operations, coordinating with property management and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and assisting the on-site HVAC construction activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work execution aligns with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and property management to support smooth project operations.
- Prepare and organize project materials, equipment, and documentation prior to construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor HVAC installation works.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to air-conditioning systems and equipment.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, property management, and internal teams during and after project implementation.
- Support project testing, commissioning, punch listing, and project acceptance activities.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for management review.
- Escalate critical issues and recommend solutions to ensure timely project completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC project execution, construction, or related engineering work.
- Knowledgeable in VRF systems and/or water-cooled air-conditioning systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation tools
