The Talent Acquisition Associate will be focused on the sourcing and processing of candidates across all verticals. This role will support the Talent Acquisition Specialists to be the main point of contact of candidates for applications, inquiries, and follow-ups, and shall build strong professional relationships to ensure continuous engagement and support from Satellite Office's workforce for recruitment-related initiatives.
- Contacting applicants across all sourcing portals as well as referrals.
- Sourcing with the use of traditional and/or non-traditional recruitment channels
- Coordinates directly with the Assistant Manager for Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition
- Specialists to ensure all requirements are captured
- Create and post job advertisements through the different job portals (i.e. Jobstreet, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Responsible for test administration and interviewing (phone or face-to-face) of candidates for the assigned accounts
- Conducts initial assessment of resumes or job applications through paper screening or phone screening to see if education, work experience and work performance match the job description or criteria
- Ensures that all recruitment steps and requirements are followed per client
- Formatting of resumes and creation of profile summaries according to a predetermined standard
- Coordinates with candidate in the submission and completion of employment requirements
- Conducts reference/background check of candidates when necessary
- Submits daily/weekly recruitment reports
- Other task to be assigned by the Assistant Manager for Talent Acquisition
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent time management with a sense of urgency
- Excellent learning ability and passion for continuous improvement
- Consultative approach to interacting with candidates, vendors, colleagues, leased staff and internal leadership
- Precise, accurate and attentive to details
- Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated, takes initiative
- Capable of handling tight deadlines, pressure and change
- High energy, team-oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Australian businesses is beneficial
