Main Roles and Responsibilities of a Checker
  1. Checking of Items
  • Verify the quantity and quality of school and office supplies.
  • Ensure that the items match the invoice, delivery receipt, or purchase order.
  1. Inspection of Products
  • Check for damaged, defective, or incomplete items.
  • Ensure products are properly packed and labeled.
  1. Monitoring Inventory
  • Assist in monitoring stock availability.
  • Report missing, excess, or incorrect items to the supervisor or warehouse staff.
  1. Receiving and Releasing Supplies
  • Confirm accuracy of incoming and outgoing items.
  • Ensure correct items are released for delivery or customer orders.
  1. Documentation
  • Record checked items in logbooks or inventory systems.
  • Sign and verify documents related to deliveries and stocks.
  1. Coordination
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and sales personnel regarding item concerns or discrepancies.
  1. Maintaining Organization
  • Help keep stocks arranged and organized inside the storage or warehouse area.
