About the role
KFC is seeking an experienced R&D Sr. Specialist to join our talented team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our innovative food products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
What you'll be doing- Conducting comprehensive research and development to create new and improved food products that align with KFC's brand and customer preferences
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and test new recipes, flavours, and product formulations
- Analysing market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement
- Ensuring all R&D projects adhere to relevant food safety and quality regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance to production teams to facilitate the successful implementation of new products
- Documenting and presenting research findings to key stakeholders
- Continuously staying up-to-date with the latest developments in food technology and safety
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar R&D role within the food industry
- Proven track record of developing successful food products and driving innovation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes
- Proficient in using relevant R&D software and laboratory equipment
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
