Software Tester and Quality Assurance

Job Description:

• Develop and design test plans to suit projects, products, software, and integration;
• Build both manual and automated test plans and test suites to identify software defects for timely resolution and to prevent recurrence;
• Perform pre (SIT and UAT) and post-deployment testing;
• Work with internal stakeholders (project manager, system and business analyst) to prioritize defects and include their resolution and work schedule;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (system analyst, developers) to establish benchmark and criteria for new features and enhancement;
• Bug tracking and reporting;
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and testing progress in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and relative field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development and testing
• Excellent attention to detail and systematic approach to testing and quality assurance
• High-level analytical skills when dealing with business and system requirements
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of SDLC
• In-depth understanding of API test with Postman, Insomnia, SOAP UI
• Solid experience in functional testing
• Experience in Non-functional testing is a plus
• Experience in testing Manual and/or Automation tool such as BrowserStack, TestProject, Katalon Recorder for Web and Mobile Application
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
