Tax and Regulatory Compliance Lead | URGENT Hiring

We are currently hiring for a Tax and Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team!

Job Description:

• Collation and coordination with finance team in India for data required to file the Income tax return, VAT, WHT, advance tax, transfer price, PEZA etc., as per PH tax laws.
• Preparation and filing of various monthly, quarterly, and annual tax related forms
• Preparation and issuance of Form 2307 on a regular basis to the vendors for withholding of taxes
• Preparation of provision for income tax and deferred taxes every quarter
• Provide guidance when it comes to regulatory requirements in our day-to-day operations
• Keep a check on the finance team for various taxes (FWT, EWT, VAT, FBT, etc.,) to be withheld on every transaction, its applicability on the company, etc
• Streamline the process and preparation of a master file for the applicability of taxes for every one’s ease of reference
• Getting clarifications from the tax consultants on any issues relating to tax and discussing the same with the supervisor
• Regularly review of Company policies and ensure we are compliant with tax rules and regulations (both Local and National)
• Identify potential tax exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Handling BIR audits, responding to the letters, meeting the BIR officer, preparing reconciliations, representing the organization before BIR, etc
• Support in PH Statutory Audits
• Support in migration of our Accounting system

Qualifications:

• Must be a college graduate of Accountancy and preferably a CPA
• Can support local and global team
• Must be amenable to work in Bridgetowne, Quezon City doing hybrid set up
