About the role
Resident Mechanical / Electrical Engineer - Mall Based is a full-time role. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical and mechanical systems within the company's mall-based operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
What you'll be doing- Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment, such as HVAC systems, generators, and lighting fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues proactively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and upgrades to existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
- Provide technical support and guidance to facility management teams
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or food service industry
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant maintenance and monitoring software
