Sales Associate

 I.  BASIC FUNCTION

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth by developing strong customer relationships, expanding market reach, and ensuring consistent product availability across assigned areas. The role focuses on executing sales strategies, achieving volume targets, and supporting brand visibility in alignment with company objectives.

1. Sales Execution & Achievement

• Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Implement sales strategies and promotional activities in the assigned territory
• Ensure proper product distribution and availability across all accounts
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to management

1. Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers
• Conduct regular client visits to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Address customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints in a timely manner
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and product placement where applicable

1. Market Expansion

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned areas
• Expand distribution channels and increase product penetration
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide market intelligence reports
• Recommend strategies to improve sales performance and market share

1. Merchandising & Brand Visibility

• Ensure proper product display and merchandising standards in all outlets
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with logistics and warehouse teams
• Support in-store promotions, activations, and marketing campaigns

1. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with internal teams (Logistics, Marketing, Finance) for smooth operations
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates
• Maintain updated records of accounts, sales transactions, and collections

1. Collections & Compliance

• Assist in monitoring customer payments and ensure timely collections
• Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and credit terms

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field
• At least 1–2 years of sales experience (FMCG or dairy industry is an advantage)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets
• Knowledge of sales processes, distribution, and account management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willing to travel and be assigned in field work
