What you'll be doing
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of all electrical equipment, wiring, and systems to identify and address any issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Install new electrical components and systems as required to support business growth and expansion
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations staff to provide a cohesive and efficient support system
- Formal qualification in electrical engineering or a relevant electrical trade
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrician, preferably in the food manufacturing or production industry
- Strong technical skills in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
