Quality Assurance Nurse (Medico-Legal)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse to support a medico-legal team based in Australia. The role focuses on reviewing medical records, drafting clinical documentation, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in reports used for legal cases.
This position is ideal for nurses with strong analytical skills, experience in healthcare documentation, and an interest in transitioning into a medico-legal or corporate healthcare role.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze medical records for completeness, accuracy, and relevance
- Draft clear, concise, and clinically accurate medical reports to support doctors’ assessments
- Ensure all documentation complies with medico-legal standards and case requirements
- Coordinate with physicians, Senior Business Analysts, and QA Attorneys for case preparation
- Track timelines and ensure reports and records are completed before assessment schedules
- Identify and communicate discrepancies, gaps, or urgent documentation issues
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all assigned cases
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Experience in quality assurance, clinical audit, or healthcare compliance
- Experience in medico-legal review or legal nurse consulting is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Work with an international medico-legal team
- Fixed weekday schedule (no shifting)
