MAINTENANCE STAFF

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist is in responsible for managing equipment, machinery, gears, and other tools that are required to operate efficiently. This role also involves assessing issues associated with electrical and mechanical concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular examinations on machinery and the restaurant's premises to identify and resolve any concerns.
• Come up with and establish a preventive maintenance plan for kitchen equipment and restaurant facilities to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Create and manage a schedule for regular maintenance tasks, coordinating with restaurant management to minimize service disruptions.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance work, ensuring quick responses to requests and minimal downtime for restaurant operations.
• Work with contractors during the construction of new restaurant locations to ensure all maintenance needs are met from the start.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections and provide updates to management.
• Help prepare budgets for maintenance and construction projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions that maintain quality.
• Manage relationships with outside service providers for specialized maintenance and construction work.
• Provide training for staff on proper use and care of kitchen equipment to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Ensure all maintenance practices comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• At least college level and/or completed TESDA NCII training
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician
• With experience in repairs and maintenance of electrical control
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Able to interpret electrical diagram and plan
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Experience in chain and restaurant group setting is a plus
