The Science Laboratory Assistant is responsible for supporting the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials used in scientific instruction and experiments. This position ensures that all laboratory activities are conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with institutional and safety protocols.Furthermore, the Science Laboratory Assistant assists faculty and students during laboratory sessions and helps maintain an orderly and conducive learning environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
A Registered Chemist or a Registered Chemical Technician.
A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or any related field.
Proven work efficiency in a fast-paced environment and excellent attention to detail.
Training in laboratory safety is a plus.
