Finance Officer

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing financial operations, reporting, and analysis while also handling day-to-day financial activities. Your role entails a balance of hands-on execution and financial oversight to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analyses to support business decisions.
• Handle tax filings, compliance requirements, audits, and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses, ensuring financial stability and cost efficiency.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as needed.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Prepare and process tax filings, financial reports, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal control measures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

• Work closely with internal departments to align financial planning and reporting with business goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Assist in streamlining financial processes, improving record-keeping, and optimizing reporting systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Preferably a CPA, but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
