Electrical Engineer Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to serve as a Consultant, responsible for overseeing and advising on electrical systems, consumption monitoring, and equipment performance. The role includes both technical execution and strategic input to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective electrical operations.

• Conduct regular meter readings and validate electrical consumption data
• Compute, analyze, and project electrical usage for operational and planning purposes
• Design and oversee the installation of submeters and related electrical components
• Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide recommendations for energy efficiency and cost optimization
• Assist in planning electrical load distribution for events or facility usage
• Review and evaluate electrical layouts, plans, and contractor work (if applicable)
• Prepare technical reports and documentation as needed

• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Proven experience in electrical systems, load computation, and equipment testing
• Knowledge of submetering systems and energy monitoring
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide reliable technical advice
• Good communication skills for coordination with management and vendors

• Available on an as-needed basis for inspections, projects, and consultations
• May be required for scheduled visits and emergency troubleshooting
