Cebu: School & Retail Partnerships Specialist (Books & Education) - Cebu

We are looking for a part-time specialist to help schools and retail outlets in Cebu discover and adopt Rajah Versus Conquistador — a new historical novel being integrated into Grade 11 programs and for sales consignment in local bookstores and cafés.

This role combines educational outreach, retail partnerships, and event coordination. You’ll also manage our international festival calendar (submissions, logistics, and recaps) to ensure the book reaches wider audiences.

• Build relationships with Grade 11 English/Literature teachers and secure school adoptions of the novel.
• Grow Cebu retail footprint (bookstores, cafés, cultural shops) — from first order to reorder.
• Organize and run small events (teacher demos, book talks, signings).
• Manage the international literary festival plan: prepare submissions, track deadlines, handle logistics, and file post-event recaps.
• Maintain a clean sales pipeline: log prospects, contacts, and deals in CRM weekly.
• Deliver concise weekly updates (school, retail, events, festivals).

• Background in teaching, education, literature, sales, or events. (Senior High School English/Literature experience a plus.)
• Strong communicator in English and Cebuano; excellent writing skills.
• Comfortable presenting to teachers, students, or small groups.
• Organized, deadline-driven; able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Passionate about books, education, and cultural events.
• Bonus: Experience with book sales, publishing, or festivals.

• Part-time (~20 hrs/week); field-based in Cebu City with flexible hours.
• ₱15,000/month retainer + results-based bonuses (for school adoptions, retail partnerships, festival milestones).
• Occasional travel opportunities for festivals and events (covered by company).
