We are a PCAB-licensed construction firm engaged in private and public infrastructure projects. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our team in Davao City.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the financial health of ongoing and future projects. Familiarity with construction accounting practices and site-related cost monitoring is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
• Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with budgets
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow reports
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate with site engineers or project managers for expense tracking
• Support external audits and government compliance reports
• Maintain organized filing and accounting systems (manual and/or digital)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry
• Experience in on-site project accounting or familiarity with project-based costing is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA is a plus but not required
