Operations Manager for Cold Storage
Primary Group of Builders Minglanilla Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team at Primary Group of Builders and oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Minglanilla, Cebu. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and profitable running of our cold storage operations.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet and exceed company objectives
- Oversee the management of all warehousing, storage and distribution activities within the cold storage facility
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse, logistics and support staff
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise inventory management and order fulfilment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Significant experience (7+ years) in a senior operations or logistics management role
- Comprehensive expertise in cold chain management, including temperature-controlled storage solutions for a capacity of 10,000 metric tons across 9 pallet positions
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Skilled in people management, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Degree in Engineering or Management or a related discipline
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
