Data Analysis Supervisor
Job Description:
The Data Analyst Supervisor oversees data analysis operations to support the logistics warehouse's performance and efficiency. This role is responsible for supervising a team of data analysts, ensuring accurate data gathering, reporting, and interpretation to improve inventory accuracy, delivery timelines, and overall warehouse productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision:
o Lead and supervise the data analyst team in day-to-day tasks and long-term projects.
o Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation to team members.- Data Management:
o Oversee data collection, validation, and maintenance of warehouse operational data (inventory levels, inbound/outbound data, delivery performance, etc.).
o Ensure data integrity and system accuracy across platforms (e.g., WMS, ERP).- Reporting and Dashboard Creation:
o Develop, review, and maintain regular reports and dashboards for warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, stock aging, etc.
o Provide actionable insights to operations, logistics, and inventory teams.- Process Improvement:
o Analyze trends and operational performance to recommend improvements in warehouse processes.
o Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.- Compliance and Audit Support:
o Ensure data reports support audit, compliance, and inventory control processes.
o Assist during operational audits and root cause analysis.- System Coordination:
o Coordinate with IT or system administrators to resolve data-related issues or enhancements.
o Help implement automation or new tools for improved analytics.- Communication:
o Present findings and reports to warehouse managers, logistics heads, and other departments.
o Translate complex data into understandable summaries for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment.
o At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.- Preferred Background:
- Skills and Competencies:
o Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
o Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and time management abilities.
o Ability to handle large datasets and maintain data accuracy.
