Job Description

Basic Job Goal:

To act as Sales and Marketing Manager for the company's Trading and Manufacturing operations.

To ensure that sales and marketing strategies are effectively implemented to achieve corporate targets and objectives.

Basic Job Functions:

  1. Reports directly to the Vice President Operations and Sales & Marketing.
  2. Develops and executes strategic sales and marketing plans for both Trading and Manufacturing business units.
  3. Leads business development activities to capture opportunities in packaging, construction, marine, and industrial markets.
  4. Oversees sales forecasts, budget preparation, and performance reporting.
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and industry partners.
  6. Direct marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand-building initiatives in alignment with corporate strategy.
  7. Conducts market and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and risks.
  8. Leads, mentors, and evaluates the sales and marketing team to ensure performance excellence.
  9. Coordinates with Operations, R&D, Technical Services, and other departments for customer focused solutions.
  10. Represents the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and professional events.
  11. Manages and oversees other sales and marketing functions as required by management.

Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is an advantage.
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 710 years of progressive experience in Sales and Marketing, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong background in coatings, inks, chemicals, manufacturing, trading, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, market development, and key account management.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of sales forecasting, budgeting, and business development strategies.
  • Strong understanding of market research, branding, and digital marketing trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance toward set targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
Other Requirements
  • Results-driven, highly motivated, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
  • Willing to travel locally and internationally, as business requires.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to company values.
  • Must be able to drive both manual and automatic 4-wheel vehicles with a valid driver's license.
