Process Engineer
NUTSRV PHILIPPINES CORP., a PEZA registered export enterprise mainly engaged in Modifying, Producing, and Assembling of Parts for (Cabs, Vans, and/or Shells) for Camping Cars and/or Recreation Vehicles including the marking and designing of its interior furniture and accessories and fabrication of molder for its parts and accessories and the assembly of recreational vehicles such as motorhomes and camper vans/cabs which is located at 3rd Avenue, 5th Street, MEZ 1, Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City, is in need of additional personnel to fill in the position below:
PROCESS ENGINEER
A Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining industrial or manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves analyzing current production systems, developing improvement strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with operational and environmental standards.
Work Environment
Process Engineers typically work in office settings and manufacturing plants. They may spend time both at desks analyzing data and on production floors observing processes first-hand. The role often involves collaboration across multiple departments and regular engagement with production personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in process analysis tools and software (e.g., simulation tools, CAD, data analytics).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
- Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Conduct experiments, process simulations, and tests to validate improvements.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, trends, inefficiencies, and performance gaps.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and technical reports.
- Ensure processes comply with health, safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in audits.
- Provide technical input on cost-reduction and efficiency projects.
- Assist in the selection, specification, and commissioning of process equipment and systems.
- Monitor and optimize equipment performance to maintain reliability and safety.
- Recommend and evaluate technologies that enhance operational performance.
