Delivery helper

Job Description

• Loading & Unloading: Safely lift, carry, and pack products into and out of the delivery vehicle.
• Order Verification: Compare actual items against delivery receipts or sales invoices to ensure complete and accurate transactions before handing them to clients.
• Customer Interaction: Present goods, answer basic customer questions, and obtain required signatures or proof of delivery.
• Navigation & Assistance: Assist the driver with directions, route planning, and backing up the vehicle into tight spaces.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Help maintain a clean, organized vehicle and keep equipment (like dollies and hand trucks) in good working condition.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic and workplace safety guidelines.
• Essential Requirements and QualificationsPhysical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy objects (often /(20/) to /(50/) lbs or up to /(25/) kg) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication to liaise with the warehouse team, the driver, and customers.
• Organization & Detail: Basic reading and math skills to accurately check delivery lists and compile daily trip reports.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general manual labor is often preferred.

• At least High School Graduate (or vocational level)
• Physically fit (can lift, carry, and load/unload items)
• Can handle documents (delivery receipt, invoice, etc.)
• With experience as delivery helper is an advantage
