Job Description:

  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for analyzing, creating new requirements and supporting the creation and implementation of all client member materials and day-to-day operations of the marketing team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains accurate member communication materials based on knowledge of CMS Marketing Guidelines and all CMS guidance relating to member communications materials.
  • Reads, writes and proofreads marketing and other materials in order to customize various member correspondence.
  • Reviews marketing materials for accuracy with benefit, compliance with approved template and any customizations.
  • Researches, proofreads, edits, and corrects materials. Manages multiple versions of materials.
  • Maintains a superior knowledge of group plan benefits and formularies to ensure accurate materials.
  • Reviews member's beneficiary documents for correct information and content.
  • Interfaces with vendors to gain approval and sign-off for various materials.
  • Reads, understands and stays up-to-date on CMS guidance as it pertains to member material and marketing materials; analyzes changes and able to incorporate guidance updates with minimal supervision.
  • Works with print vendors to coordinate print schedules and ensure the timely delivery of member materials.
  • Writes member communications specific to ad hoc client issues or requests. Attends client calls, as needed, to understand and address questions or issues related to marketing or member materials.
  • Manages the overall scope, planning, business requirements, implementation and delivery of updates to applicable letters. Ensures business requirements are properly translated into deliverables. Schedules timelines with IT department and external vendors.
  • Creates policies and procedures and work instructions as needed.
  • Provides day-to-day management and coordination of deliverables, issue tracking, and compliance issues related to marketing. Communicates to both internal and external clients on status, schedules, and changes.
  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with minimal assistance from others
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadline

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Marketing related courses.
  • At least 5 years experience similar to the role.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands
  • Skilled at business requirements gathering and ability to prepare and maintain detailed project plans
