About the role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at the INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE' in Newport City Pasay City Metro Manila. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing- Greeting and assisting customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Accurately processing customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments
- Balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised checkout area
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and effective store operations
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing retail role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and welcoming environment
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in basic cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
