Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives across the facility.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards.
  • Establish, support, and coordinate the operations of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee.
  • Lead incident investigations in coordination with the OSH Committee, ensuring proper documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate and lead facility-level risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance activities related to occupational safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Ensure the site is prepared and compliant for internal and external safety audits and inspections.
  • Participate in coordination routines such as EHS huddles, daily management meetings, and updates to the site’s Physical Safety Board.
  • Develop and deliver site-specific EHS training programs to employees and contractors.
  • Perform other EHS-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences
  • With three 3 years’ experience in implementing Environment, Health and Safety management in a manufacturing set up.
  • With background in Food Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Operations
  • Strong technical knowledge in safety processes such as HIRAC, Incident Management, Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis, Emergency Preparedness Management, Behavioral Based Safety, HSE Auditing, Management of Change, key concepts of ISO 14001 and 4500
  • Preferably with previous accreditation as PCO by EMB or LLDA
  • Certifications / Training (Required or Preferred)
  • 40 Hours Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training – Required
  • Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Training – Required
  • 40 Hours Basic Pollution Control Training – Required
  • First Aid / Emergency Response Training – Preferred
  • ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and 9001 Awareness – Preferred
  • Internal Auditor Training (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and 9001) – Preferred
