Design Engineer - Electrical

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible to design a high voltage substation based on the Projects' requirements.

Qualifications:

1. B.S. Electrical Engineering
2. 2+ years of experience in electrical design or electrical engineering (experience in construction projects is preferred).
3. Capable of designing secondary design protection, SCADA
4. Cable Schedules
5. Interface Design

Detailed Job Description:

1. Evaluates available Structural/Architectural Drawings for Electrical Design.
2. Consideration of Site Planned Schedule and Electrical Budget Cost.
3. Presents a Conceptual Drawing using Sketch up or similar application for Site Operation and Client and/or Consultant (if required)
4. Prepares complete Electrical Methods of Statement
5. Provides detailed Material List on each design prepared.
6. Provides site assistance if design is a bit complex
7. Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.
