The Pre-Press Graphic Artist is responsible for preparing and optimizing digital files for printing, ensuring that designs meet technical specifications, color accuracy, and layout standards. The role involves working closely with designers, clients, and the production team to guarantee high-quality printed materials.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a pre-press or printing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other pre-press software.
Knowledge of Printing Processes: Offset, digital, flexographic, or screen printing.
Detail-Oriented: Strong eye for detail and quality control.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design and technical printing issues.
Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple projects.
Work Environment: Office-based within the pre-press department.
May require occasional interaction with production areas for press checks.Standard working hours with potential overtime depending on project deadlines.
